Remote Snap is a form of asynchronous replication that uses the snapshot functionality of the array to replicate block-level or page-level data from a volume on a primary system to a volume on a secondary system. The secondary system may be at the same location as the first, or it may be located at a remote site. Remote Snap only replicates blocks or pages that have changed since the last replication, thereby providing efficient replication.
